Why I'm Here

I’ve got a Yamaha acoustic,and a Fender Strat that needs some work…lol I’ve been playing since college,(many years ago),but I’m probably still at the same level. I was a student at GIT, in Los Angeles,now known as the Musicians Institue, I believe, this was in 1979. My fav experiences with my guitar was traveling with it abroad to Europe, N Africa, and the middle east.. My inspiration and desire to become a better guitar player come from listening to Jerry Garcia , and today Mark Knopfler. I’ve always been attracted to their clean , melodic styles.

Music, guitar music, and the players that have inspired me, have brought me the most pleasure in my life, and it is my hope that someday I will enjoy hearing myself play as much as I have enjoyed the music of others.
