Why I'm Here

Ozark-based speech-language pathologist with 2 kiddos and a great hubbie.  Currently playing on a Taylor GS mini.

I originally hail from Anchorage, Alaska but after several false attempts at settling (Memphis, San Antonio and Austin) – my husband and I have decided to make our home in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  We absolutely love it here.  My husband is a member of a blues/bluegrass/funk fusion band called ‘The Ozark Travelers’ (check them out on facebook), we homeschool our 2 small children and also help our brother-in-law with a small family farm nearby.

I took private lessons and a semester of classical guitar during my freshman year of college but then life took over.   In my free time I like to noodle around on the guitar…with small (ok…grand) hopes of someday playing fingerstyle Christmas arrangements and gospel hymns for the patients in my hospital for special occasions.  But first, I just have to learn to play!
