About Me
First Name | Mark |
Nickname | Mark W |
Why I'm Here | In 2017, I retired after 33 years as an executive in a fortune 50 corporation. I had collected a few guitars over the past 15 years or so, but I had not taken the time or made it a priority to learn how to really play the guitar. One of my goals upon retirement was to make learning the guitar a priority. Now I have sold most of the guitars I previously owned and upgraded across both acoustic and electric guitars. I own several wonderful acoustics from Ryan, Collings and Bourgeois as well as a classic Martin D28 Marquis and some one of kind PRS private stock and Knaggs. Electrics include several Nik Huber, PRS Private Stock, as well as Fender Custom Shop classics. |
City | My goal is to be able to play the kinds of music I like, and be a good player – for myself and friends. |
My Guitar Goal
What I'm Focused On Now | I would like to be able to grow my song catalog by 10 songs in the next 3 months. Ultimately, My goal is to be able to play the kinds of music I like, and be a good player – for myself and friends. |
My Guitar Routine
This is How I TAC | I will play my guitar at least 6 days a week. I will include my skills and technique building routines on a weekly basis – barre chords 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th string voicings, scales – full fretboard, arpeggios, pentatonic scales and positions across the fretboard, finger picking and strumming etc. |
