Why I'm Here

I have several, that I have been collecting since about 1970.  A nice Fender Strat, one Spanish classical, and two acoustics (Ibanez and a 1969 Gibson 12 string).

I am retired — was an electronics tech in Silicon Valley and for Intel in New Mexico.  Now living in NW Arkansas.  Grew up in East Lansing, Michigan, and spent 8 years in the Navy (Uncle Sam told me he was very fond of me and wanted me to help him — 1968).  I just could not say no to that guy — quite the charmer.

Married since 1976, two kids and several grandkids.  I like to fish and allow the dog to take charge of the house.

I do love the sound, and the idea that I created it.  But the guitar is like the piano and the game of billiards — you always have room to improve.  Six years in HS in the band and orchestra — loved being in the group.  So I want that sense of accomplishment and the pleasure of the sounds.
