Why I'm Here

I was exposed to music (rock & roll) at an early age from listening to my brother & sister’s records. When the Beatles came, I was hooked. In high school some friends and i started a band. I ended up as the drummer because i could play the opening beat to the Cream’s NSU better than anyone else. After playing in different combos for a few years i lost interest in playing. Fast forward 35 years later i decided to try and learn the acoustic guitar. It’s been almost four years and its been a slow journey. Currently have 3 guitars, a GPCPA3 Martin, Eastman E20-OM-SB, and a new left handed guitar, Alvarez AF60L which now i’m trying to convert myself to play lefty.  I still play my Eastman everyday as i like to mess up both sides of my head.

I've always wanted be able to sit down and play a few songs and sound like my favorite musicians who i loved hearing over the years. I'm lefty who plays right handed because that was the only guitar around. It's been a slow progress but I'm ready to take it to the next level.
