Just retired and now have time to finally getting back to being able to play the guitar.

I need scheduled guidance.  There is now an overload of information available and it's easy to be distracted and start on a new path before obtaining the basic building blocks. Finger picking and flat picking is great for playing melody and rhythm  at the same time when you don't sing or have other players around.  You are your own band.
