Why I'm Here

I grew up in Eastern Oregon listening to my dad, uncle, great uncle and grandpa jam bluegrass and gospel.  I’ve always wanted to learn to actually play and when my grandpa passed away this past year (early 2015) I decided that it was time.

I think that we should constantly be learning new things, and the guitar is a venue of a lifetime of learning.  Besides my dad's family is very musically inclined and I need to learn so I can pass that tradition on to my own children.
