41 year old beginning guitarist returning to playing music after a 20 year break. Married with two amazing kids and posted overseas with the U.S. State Department — currently in Albania. Left handed player waiting on my new Martin Dreadnought Jr, and playing a Gretsch Pro Jet electric. Picked guitar up official when my daughter started playing as well.

I grew up playing music — cello and drums, and a little guitar here and there. It was a major connection with my grandmother, who was a classical pianist. I have always found playing music a great way to express myself, but it got away from me for a while starting my career, raising kids, etc.
