Today’s lick is one that I think you will really enjoy. It uses some double stops, as well as a good portion of the open C major scale to create a country tinged lick. This lick puts double stops in action and shows how useful and punchy they can be both in this lick and in the finger style genre in general. There is a bit of back and forth in this lick, which is where it gets it’s title from. Have fun with this one and watch your timing as this one can be a bit goofy if you aren’t careful.
