Rope Climb
A new look at an old favorite. Today you will check out a double stop scale in the key of C, but the manner in which you will move through the scale will be a very slide-centric technique. This is a great way to impart some country flavor to a tune in the key of C and in a weird way it almost has an “island” feel to it. You will hear notes and phrases of the tunes “Peace Train” as well as “Brown Eyed Girl” within this scale. This is a must-know harmonized scale and one that once you harness its power you will use a ton.
