The scale today will be a challenge no doubt about it. You will have your fill of hammer ons, pull offs and as a result triplets. This is an E major scale that is necessary to know, but also this technique of working through a scale is one you can apply not just to this scale, but really any that are out there. I hope that this will plant lick creating seeds in your brain and fingers. I think once you work through this scale with the triplets and their accompanying hammer ons and pull offs you will be in prime form to create some of your own original licks.
