Tonya Harding

This chord progression is one that isn’t strange by any means, however it has an interesting rhythmic treatment. The initial bass note of both the E major and A major chords will be pronounced due to the integration of a triplet, and the rest of the measure has quite a bit of space introduced. This has a very cowboy like swagger to it in terms of it’s rhythm and it is certainly something that is a bit easier to feel than count. This progression and it’s unique timing will certainly help you build your musical feel as well as your confidence in phrasing.
