I got smooth and consistent at 65 beats, any faster and I lose count. Counting out loud did help.
The tablature is a little confusing, but I got the gist of it from Tony’s video. Pretty cool exercise. Gonna take a lot of practice to get any good at it but it’s fun.
Lol 1 E and uh I can get, but doing it fast so it really sounds like a tremalo, lol not so much.
More work!
Fun though, its an interesting challenge.
I don’t know how everyone else approaches this, but I thought, accuracy, and then, with time, speed will come?
This is grate something new to play, i never heard Tremolo before today..
Great exercise to increase your pick accuracy
It is difficult to do this and not dig too deep with the pick. I found that It required a very light touch and fairly steep attach angle with the pick. Maybe I need a pointier pick.
The tab at measure #9 is not what is played. It should be up a semitone
Completed 8/12/2023. Thank goodness for the Dunlop Ultex Sharp 2.0 mm picks for this! Fun!
I have never tried ths technique before and wow…..what a challenge!!!! I definitely have my work cut out for me here!!
i always considered myself somewhat decent at tremolo picking. i suddenly don’t feel that way anymore haha this a good work out and warm up and my wrist can feel the burn
HOLY COW! I thought that I was somewhat adept at this flat picking thing, but NOOOOO! It’s funny how guitar skills can put you in your place. Lots of practice due on this one.
