  1. I’m finding that the hardest part of tremolo is keeping the pick from rotating. Gripping the pick tighter only makes my wrist less able to keep a rapid tempo.

  2. this was fun but had issues still on the closed G, A chords so i did not play the last string. i had a hard time holding down the B minor chord for the total measure. but practice practice practice.

  3. All I care about on this challenge was that I was able do a decent B chord for the first time. It’s taken a lot of practice but I was finally able to nail it.

  4. This was my favorite challenge so far, could work on tremolo for a full measure, the three following measures gives you time to plan your chord transition coming up and it begins with a full measure tremolo, awesome!

  5. I have to admit this has been my least favorite lesson yet and am finding the double whammy of learning not only tremolo but also having to get familiar with a bunch of totally new chords really challenging. I think I would have liked to have learned tremolo on some open string chords so that I could focus solely on the tremolo technique. Also I’ve had to rewind the chord explanations a bunch as they are explained a bit too fast….getting through it, but has been super difficult for me.

  6. Great exercise on rhythm. Not as easy as it looks, but once you get it doors open for you. Just some additional things to try. Use one of the quarter note sections, the three measures together, and put in an eighth note or two, boom chick a rather than boom chick. And on the A chord section, you can use the A string for a base note to add an accent.
