KInd of reminds me of Tony Iommi in Black Sabbath minus bends, hammer ons and vibrato .
This is a great lesson for string accuracy, and it sounds pretty good.
Great exercise for me as my flat pick accuracy is poor, just keep working at it.
Like the way this one flows.
Accidentally marked it complete. I showed up but this one needs another days and a fresher brain! Not too bad tho!
Another great two-fer! Both as a crosspicking exercise and a backing rythym.
Love the progression. Easier tha I thought. Tony breaks it down well to simplify the exercise.
Good finger exercise on the fretboard. Must keep practicing!
Very hard to keep up even at half speed. I will keep at it
Those first four notes are great for pick accuracy, I enjoyed the session
took a little bit to get the timing down
Great Challenge to improve dexterity and to get familiar with the 12 – Bar Blues format. Will continue to practice this challenge.
I can do it slow pretty consistently. When I try to speed up I start to miss the strings. Also, when I come back to the 7th or 9th frets on beat 3, I’ve been using my pinky so I can more easily reach the 4th fret with my index. Is that ok to do? It’s just a lot easier.
Opps, my comment below was for Day 2. Triple threat.
My biggest issue is getting my fingers to stretch to each fret. I guess if I keep practicing my fingers will eventually get there. I don’t have the biggest hands or the longest fingers!
this is definitely fun but need to go slow as skipping\g strings can be a challenge.
I do like this progression.
Love it tony!
Fun, changed some fingerings to make it easier for me by this is very fun, fun to play this 12 bar blues while watching Avatar (mostly Blue!)
Like this!
tough but fun. Challenge to get the picking correct.
Entertaining. base line.
oh i like this one gonna have fun with it
Interesting Blues-picking pattern. I don’t feel the Kodachrome, but I do get the importance of accuracy/consistency in the alternate picking style for the various chord shapes.
This was challenging for me hitting the right strings.
I really like this as an exercise but backing track would be real helpful here.
I hear a little led zep in there
you mean willie dixon, right?
