I downloaded my recording for April 16 VOM to Zoom but I cant find it , any ideas how to locate the recording

Did you manage to download it to your computer? If so check you downloads folder if you are on windows

@Dirk_R , when you told it to record, I assume it asked if you wanted the cloud or your computer. When you ended the Zoom session, you should have seen a download screen then a “want to save” screen.
It you have a Zoom account, the Zoom “Settings” (called “Preferences” on my Mac) have a “Recordings” category, and in that, it tells Zoom where to save on your computer. If you did tell it the Cloud, it should be in your account on Zoom under “Saved Recordings”. If you don’t have an account, but said Cloud, it was saved to the TAC Cloud as @Real-Vic-G talked about (possibly before you got on), and you need to contact him to see what can be done.

@Dirk_R , everyone’s computer is different so I can’t tell you exactly where your files would be, however the file names that you are looking for are:
- zoom_0.mp4
- playback.m3u
- audio_only.m4a
Take note of where you find these files because obviously that’s where they’ll be when you download your files again on future VOMs. Here’s a tip. I would rename these files by adding a date to them because if you don’t, these files will be gone the next time you do a VOM download again because the names are the same and your “old” files will have been overridden with the “new” files.
Further note, the .mp4 file is likely the one that is of most interest to you. The others are just “nice to haves” but you will likely not use them.
