I love this too, …”My fourth year in TAC is devoted to improvisation, and I am convinced that one of the prerequisites to this is to know the fretboard thoroughly, so every day I run an app on my iPad placing 100 random notes on the fretboard, and after nine months this is really showing an effect.”……I subscribe to a dude who does backing tracks and he puts the chords in. I have taken to playing the tritone on the change and including whatever extensions he puts on. I am still fairly slow when I get a new track but once I get everything located it turns quite musical. I never met an improv I didn’t like.
