Congratulations on getting so close to your goal. I enjoy fiddle tunes too. I think that they’re fun to play and memorization is a great aspiration. I have learned Red Haired Boy, Carter’s Tune and play them from memory. I am so close to St. Anne’s Reel. I learned these fingerstyle on a nylon-string baritone ukulele and since they are on the DGBE strings I can carry them over to guitar. Thanks for bringing this up.
