This goes back a few years, but…
I just learned that my son and I are in a cover photo for the Lehigh Valley/Pocono Jazz Network’s FB page. One of my friends saw it and emailed me. See https://www.facebook.com/groups/115420785211432/?ref=share
The photo was taken at a party Rose and I hosted some years ago, possibly before I even started playing guitar. Besides my son, Alan, and me in the front, the other people are my friends I paid to play the gig: Dr. Neil Wetzel (alto), Alan Gaumer (trumpet), Skip Wilkins (keys), Gary Rismiller (drums), Bill Washer (guitar) and Paul Rostock (bass). My son (a much better player than I) and I played some trumpet for just a few tunes that night. Except for us, everyone in this photo is pretty much a big-time musician. You can probably find them in some YouTubes if you’re interested. I’ve been friends with most of these guys a pretty long time.
