I just received new hearing aids from the VA. Wearing them changes the sound of my guitar, making it sound somewhat tinny and certainly different than it did prior to using the hearing aids. I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and what they did to resolve it. TIA

I turn mine down till the notes sound normal (or what I was use to hearing) then each day I turn them up a notch till I’m use to it again. It makes a difference cause I wasn’t use to hearing the notes clearly, now it’s much better.

I’m lucky that my hearing aid doesn’t change the sound of my guitar. I have tinnitus and can’t tune a guitar by ear. Sorry I don’t have any suggestions about fixing your problems. I hope you get it figured out soon.
