First off happy TACiversary @mkjohnsons! Well deserved. So many resonances with my guitar journey here- another “COVID-baby TAC-er” (love that!) after 41 years of picking up my guitar and then putting it down again, scrape off the dust every few years but no progress at all. I would echo everything you said about joining this community and the fabulous support people give to us ‘noobs’. I’ve had assitance on everything from picks that won’t fly out of my fingers when flat picking, to barre chords (and why I can’t do them). I’m glad your first year has gone really well and here’s to year two! I’m 9 months in to TAC and will definitely be signing up for year 2. Keep on Rockin the fretboard.
