total immersion!
Im finding that i am becoming totally immersed in my guitar journey since joining tac 81 days (already?) ago. I started off with a little ten minute here and there. then I discovered the forums, the courses, the challenges, acoustic tuesday and every other little tidbit that I had never been exposed to or had shut my mind to.Instead of watching programs on my tv Im watching all sorts of guitar stuff.Ill bet I could tell a guitar sales person more about a Martin than they could.Im appreciating more, even resonator guitars and funny looking dobros(no offense intended) etc .I just wanted to get my hand wet but have totally immersed my body. Its wonderful! (and nerdy and a little eccentric but what the hell)

Way to feel alive. I struggle with getting sucked into too much TV. The guitar is much more productive. Even if I’m watching TV I can sometimes do exercises and scales. Better use of life.
