I recently added a GS mini to my modest but growing guitarsenal, and so far I’m very impressed with the rich sound that comes out of that small body! Mine has the spruce top with Tasmanian/Australian blackwood sides and back. I love the look and feel of it, and can’t understand why some reviewers complain about a “tinny” sound. I traded a dreadnaught sized Epiphone for the mini – loved the sound of that one, too, but found it very hard to play it comfortably. My one big concern with the mini is that I have struggled to play fingerstyle and the narrower neck makes that even more challenging. That’s okay, though, I’m pretty sure there are more guitars out there waiting for me😄
