Finishing 30 Days to Play
I’m ending my first 30 days, which is a huge win. Did I sign a major record contract? Well, no, obviously. But do I know more about the guitar than I did? Heck yes to that one!
Things I am taking away from this introduction:
Did I play everything perfectly and do I even remember what I did back in week one? No, not even close but then it does not really matter, I can always go back when I want to and when I feel like I want to start a study of the 12 bar Blues.
Did I nail the week four solo? Bwaahahhahahahahaha. I’m lucky if I can get through the scale at anything resembling a fluid motion. But I’m fine with that, I mean I literally just started playing so while I may want to play like SRV I know that isn’t going to happen, on the other hand though I now have a new hobby! Lots of things to learn and try, things to fail at and things to succeed at and that is exciting. 🙃
Bonus – Besides my Korg DM3 metronome I also bought a capo and a guitar stool… gadgets man, and at some milestone I want to purchase a really nice guitar as a reward for the journey.
