Big Win Weekend
This past weekend my Dad and Brother came to visit before my brother heads off to college in Spain in two weeks. I took them both to see Billy Strings outdoors at the Edgefield Amphitheater outside of Portland. Billy played an amazing show as always, but the highlight of the weekend was playing music with my Dad and Brother on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. I haven’t played with other people in 25 years and it was just fantastic. My dad played his stand up bass, my brother played his fiddle and my mandolin and I played my HD-28. My dad was simply beaming with joy as he sang and we played tunes like Paradise, Lonesome Fugitive and Seminole Wind. This was a big goal for this year and something I’m sure we’ll build on. Thanks again for all the inspiration TAC Family. #FAMJAM

@Pinski , I just listened to an hour of Billy Strings playing Doc Watson songs. It was AWESOME! First time i really listened to him. I know this is late, but I hope you had a great time.
