“….another little piece of my heart now”…..Janis via Tac
one of the great nostalgic things of tac is the way it allows me to look back on parts of my life from back in the day.I only have a few songs but each reminds me in bits and pieces of my friends, lovers and others. For instance “Dont think twice” reminds me of the early 60s and a college friend who introduced me to folk music.”Freight Train” reminds me of Elizabeth Cotton and what is called Cotton Pickin’.My latest which will take months to learn is “Fire and Rain” that reminds me of a very close friend, Sue “….and I always thought I would see you again”. Finally “Girl From North Country”. Reminds me of a great girlfriend from the 70s.”….I wonder if she remembers me at all”. Anyway tac helps me in a nostalgic way and I hope to add more songs and memories in the future before I croak
