😆🎤 Hadn’t heard that one before! I know lots of folks think of karaoke as a bunch of drunks messing around at weddings, etc. But over the years since I started going, I’ve been quite amazed at the talent of some of the singers. Of course there will always be some who just have no sense of rhythm and probably never will, but they have fun. Others are not bad on their “comfort zone” tunes, but don’t often try something different. But I’d say 20- 30 % of the singers on a given night are pretty good, and a few are borderline pro talents. I really hope to get confident enough on my guitar to play and sing at open mics some day – but for now I get my singing “fix” at karaoke nights!
