@Mrfredsporty .This is ridiculous. Lucky for me I took it when I joined which is just over a year ago. I personal messaged you with some info that might help.

click on Fretboard wizard on the left of the screen.

You may want to contact Support for the most accurate info. Hit that little Question mark Icon at the bottom of our menu bar. I have had excellent results with this in the past. Of course past performance does not guarantee future results.🙂

I haven’t seen an update on this, so I’ll add this in case not everyone is aware. I had a dormant subscription to the fretboard wizard that I had not activated , but when I logged in for the first time in weeks I was offered the new and improved version of FBW! Very cool. So I decided to jump in and get back on track by following the wizard! If I understand correctly, FBW is now part of membership, no additional fee required, I don’t think it was offered just because I had the previous un-activated subscription.

Sorry– I took a smart*ss pill this morning.
I agree with Cadgirl- this is ridiculous.
I am sorry, but I think I’m done waiting.
There’s no way for me to verify this– (maybe some new TAC’ers can verify?)– but– if a “new” person just joining can purchase FBW when they join— why in the hell can’t a PRESENT member just buy it?
Keeping it away from existing members- (even the old version), while at the same time having it available to NEW members is just wrong.
Common sense has to show up at the party pretty soon here…….
Again- I’m sorry to say……… I think I’m done waiting.
Contemplating letting my membership “go” upon my Jan 12 anniversary, then re-joining- (and—- maybe—- adding the FBW course at that time— as a NEW member).
….Or not… How stupid……

Sadly– I’m at the point where I don’t really give a hoot….. I’m not gonna beg for it.

@the-old-coach. it’s just marketing. You know…. Build up the anticipation in the product. Tease with suspense. They’ll sell more that way.
Here’s an easy way to look at it: Think back when you were with all your buddies having a beer…. you just got the last beer out of the fridge, you drink it slowly smacking your lips. Commenting on how good it is. Makes everyone want a beer that much more. That sounds like what is going on with the FBW.

@Mrfredsporty I just went back to the email I received and it doesn’t say when it will be released. But, will let you know if we get a date. Maybe there will be a mention of it in the upcoming Acoustic Tuesday show.

It has definitely been frustrating having the FW pages online but not able to sign up. It appears that those who are already in the FW program can now access the new version. I want to join and just received an email stating that those joining for the first time should be able to on Monday. I will be ready to start on Monday!

There is even the new FBW icon in my Skills Courses line-up, but no go uurrgghh!!

When I click in the FW on the menu I receive a message highlighted in red at the bottom of the screen informing there is is me new course. If I click that I am taken to the new course.

The new one shows up but then has guru Tony saying “Whoa there!”
