  • Half way through week 1!

I just completed day 4, and I am so happy I joined. This feels really good. I have been going back over everything I already did in each play session, and in this short time I can already see improvement on day 1 and 2 exercises. Prior to joining, I was mostly playing ukulele because honestly it just easier, but it’s becoming such a comfort to get my Taylor out on a regular basis.

If you can stay with your 10 minutes a day, you will find an eventual and sustainable path of improvement that can’t help but let you songwriters creativity express itself with accompaniment. Welcome to TAC and congratulations on your small win.

@Silver_Siren the advice @albert_d provides is wise in that it works to build consistency into your own personal routine. My advice after two and a half with TAC is to do the 30 Days to Play and explore the Skill Courses. I got too hung up at first thinking I must learn each Daily Challenge. perfectly. For me that was a buzz kill until I realized to just become acquainted with the lesson’s concept at first. After all, they are repeated so you won’t miss out doing them again. After completing the introductory courses, I discovered completing the Fretboard Wizard (original version, newer one now even better) very beneficial what it takes to become a guitar player. I had to repeat it a couple times to really grasp the concepts.

My best advice, however, is to keep it fun. That way, you pick up that Taylor often, even just for just 10 minutes a day (hint: you will end up playing it much longer!)
