TAB for Be Kind Rewind
I’m reasonably certain that the tab for yesterday’s and today’s lessons are not accurate. On yesterday’s Fast Forward, Tony plays an open B on all three chords which are not notated in the TAB. Today’s tab is way off; things out of order, etc. If anyone has gone to the trouble of tabbing it out correctly I’d love to see it. Thanks.

Hi @dfmarcus63 , are you looking for the tab to the scales or the backing track? The backing track tab should match the Thursday Challenge “VHS Fever”.

Hi @Kitman. Before I watched the lesson I looked at the TAB while listening to the play through. In the play through, Tony goes up and down three different scales before playing the chords. But the Tab just shows the “up” part of the scale. Then it shows the chord shapes, then it shows several ways to play portions of the scales at different places on the neck, e.g. the tab and the play through are quite different, which I’ve never seen in any other lesson. Anyway, once I watched the actual lesson it all made sense. Thanks!

OK, got it. I did notice the tab was a bit different than usual – not a literal translation of the video. Glad you could bridge the two and carry on. Have a great day and keep on playing! 😎🎸🎶
