Wow today’s challenge was the hardest so far, but I am persevering with bleeding fingers! Love the feel and sound of getting the thumb a thumpin’! Tony you are teaching me exactly what I was hoping to learn so thank you. I will be going through this week’s challenges again this weekend and will be ready to learn more Monday.

    Peace Out.

I identify with your statement. Today was tough. We just do what we can, learn some, improve a little; and keep going. Things do come around after awhile; though for me the pace is often slow. Welcome to TAC, and enjoy the journey!

Been tinkering for many years with a few songs under my belt without any structure or directions. Was widowed a year ago right after i retired and decided that i need to get more involved with something i enjoy. I finally joined up with TAC and i am inspired by Tony’s positive attitude and his simple approach. I am doing the 30 days to play as well as the challenges and look forward to it every day. Really enjoyed the thumb exercise as it is going to take some work. I enjoy the guitar best when i am learning.

Y’all all have such a treat to anticipate as the 30 days become 30 months. I’d spring for a lifetime membership and Fretboard Wizard (unsolicited non TAC affiliated personal advice) and settle in for lifestyle of growth, fun, and fulfillment.

Friday’s challenge was pretty darned hard for those of us who’ve been doing this a while. I fav’d it because I think it will be really useful if I can work on it some more.
