Hello–
Like many others it seems, I know I’ve used the phrase “life got in the way” before when it came to not being able to learn or practice guitar.
I’d like to turn that around and offer a little different viewpoint.
I don’t want to get too heavy in here, but life has handed a shit sandwich. About two weeks ago I lost my younger sister. Big stuff, and I’m having trouble with it.
Playing and practicing guitar in some ways has kept me going. I’ve begun the early processes of writing a couple songs about this. Early– much work needed. They’re mostly just for me.
Having a rough time with this, but life didn’t “get in the way to keep me from practicing/ playing”………. rather……… practicing and playing was one of the things that’s gettin’ me thru it.
Needed to vent/ 4 beers in– BTW– hit 700 sessions today…. 😀
