  • Help with Fishman LoudBox Artist Amp.

Posted by outdoorgator on April 8, 2023 at 7:55 pm

Yesterday I purchased my first acoustic amp. Went out and got a Fishman LoudBox Artist.

Watched Tony’s YouTube video on setting up Gain and adjusting the clip. Sounding great!!!

Looking for help on fine adjusting the Low, Mid and High also using the effects of A and B reverb, chorus and so on…

I have a Yamaha FX 335C acoustic guitar with a EQ pickup. How do you adjust the EQ along with the EQ on my amp??

Any help or YouTube links would be much appreciated!!

    AMPED UP AND LOVING IT!!!

      Your welcome!

My over all goal first is to learn how to get the closest natural acoustic sound out of my amp. IE: Boosting acoustic sound without to much lost in a real acoustic sound. Without buying a pedal set. Second would be to better understand effect A and B, IE: Reverb 1 and 2 along with Chorus 1 and 2.

As for now sounds great, gain set, no clip/feedback but it’s missing that authentic real acoustic sound I get when I’m not hooked to my amp.

I have done all the basic set up, like gain and clip. Now I’m working on figuring out how to set up the pick up in conjunction with my amp, low, mid and high settings. My technical brain is in a argument right now! LOL… Do I leave my pick up volume on low? Do I set the pick up at 10k 80k or some where in between? Do I leave my pick-up EQ on flat and make all adjustments on amp? I’ve watched a few You-tube videos but most are a sale pitch for pedals.

Welcome to TAC @outdoorgator, I currently posses the Fishman Loadbox Mini, mine does not have all the bells and whistles your has, but what I would do is start all settings at 0 (in the middle) and then start tweaking each one until you reach the sound you’re looking for, grated you will have multiple configurations, but I’m with @albert_d and try and stay within the natural acoustic side, maybe a tad bit heavy on the reverb…….good luck!

My bad, I would stick with “your” goal to stay as close to the natural acoustic sound as possible.
