Gone to long played with Every time she goes away
The lick is 8 measures and the Chord progression is 8 measures.
The bass run of the lick does not coincide with the bass run of the progression. Is this the way it is supposed to be played??
If you are working the lick into the chord progression it is much easier to hear where to put the lick if you start it after the bass run in the progressionn . But if you play the lick starting on the 2 beat of the 1st measure against the backing track it doesn’t sound right .

If any one is interested I have figured it out
To see how the chords and lyrics matchup google the song and click on Dave GuitarHero2. Go to the last section…the play along with the vocals and then play along with TAC version of the chord progression.
TAC could be greatly improved if Tony would show us how the lyrics and chords are played together …..certainly would save a lot of time hunting around. I would prefer to spend my time playing the guitar instead of searching the Internet.
