I haven’t looked at that lesson in a long time, but I think the first thing the tab does is introduce the chords A, D, and E. Then it starts the 12 bar blues. There will be twelve measures. 4 A measures, 2 D measures, 2 A measures, 1 E measure, 1 D measure, and finally 2 A measures. (4+2+2+1+1+2=12). I haven’t watched the video again but that’s what the tab is doing. There are really two sections. A practice section first, then a song section. I hope I understand your question. You will come to love many variations of the 12 bar blues. Have fun.
