Thanks @John_Hall my mind drifts back to the days I heard different songs then one will stand out then I look it up on the net listen to the original then dig into the chords Found on E Chords Chordify Cowboy Lyrics. Or Chordie Then play them with acoustic over and over determine the key determine the strumming pattern determine if it sounds better flat picked or finger picked or a mix of both. Then determine Electric rock or Acoustic Then talk sing it out until I have it memorized then sing it play it with full effort clean up the weak spots then record then listen to the playback make changes then improv a note solo based on my hearing it in my mind put it all together and take the leap of faith and post it almost all my songs go through this procedure.
