t is awesome you are going to a jam. I have never played with anyone. A year ago I tried a few lessons with a teacher, but although I could play the piece he gave me at home, it was like my brain fell out of my ear in his lesson. He wasn’t the best of teachers I suspect and I quickly started to dread my guitar which I had loved and played every day before. I realized I was doing better with online lessons. There is a jam in my little country community but it is one day a week at the fire hall and I keep promising myself I will go to it and check it out, but what happens is it is on a day that I work and if I remember I’m so tired I haven’t gone. I don’t think I can get better if I don’t at the very least start playing steadily with a backing track. How long have you been playing? What happens at your jam? Do you feel nervous there?
