(I feel like) I know ALL the songs…
Really! These song lessons have made me feel like I know all of the songs! I mean, I don’t really know all of the songs, but I know a lot about a lot of songs now – even ones I haven’t learned yet. And my uptake is much quicker than it used to be. As an example when we did Wanted Dead or Alive by Bon Jovi, I played it for my wife after only a week or so of learning it. She can be a tough critic. Her first statement was, “I know that I know that song, but you play it prettier than the original.”
If you’re just starting out, stick with it and develop a rock solid guitar habit, and the improvement will come!

Amen to that. And a little theory helps it become even faster.

Absolutely! I knew almost nothing about theory before starting TAC even though I had played guitar from tab and chords for years. I have done the Fretboard Wizard a couple times and now I know the basic stuff which has helped me immensely! And once it sunk in a bit, I even started playing some piano. I find that the theory is very visible on the piano, so I like doing it to reinforce the concepts that I learn on the guitar.
