  • Blues Groove in Em

I always write guitar sketches that help stretch my understanding of Tony’s lessons so although this is a pretty simple Blues Groove I’ve used it to help with the following:

    1. Playing chords in the middle of the Fretboard – Em and Am are just as easy to play up there as in first position so worth a go even if you’re a beginner (really!).

    2. Using my little finger (pinkie for my US friends) to get some melody and strengthen it up a bit.

    3. Getting some expression in by using slides and palm muting.

As with most of my vids, look out for the dogs photo-bombing!

Nice harmonic ending. It is enjoyable and interesting to see with what you are fiddling and creating. Thanks.
