    In a previous Acoustic Tuesday Tony discussed the unique instruments like the Guitarron which is used is Mariachi quite extensively. Netflix dropped an interesting documentary this past week entitled, “Going Varsity in Mariachi”. It chronicles one South Texas High School’s 2021 quest for the Texas State UIL Mariachi Championship. For those of you with such interests, (and enjoy the oddities of High School band and mentalities) you will find it entertaining. The Guitarron player is the heartbeat of the music.
