  • Week 2 30 Days to Play Blues Baseline

Posted by PBmax on December 16, 2024 at 6:48 pm

I have practiced every day for 16 days since starting the #0 days to play.
Concentrating on finger placement and pick pattern up and down. See progress in a short time with fingers starting to move in pattern with less thinking and less time looking at pick for which string to pick. Slow progress is still progress.

Try counting 1and 2 and 3 and 4 and. To get your timing down. Count out loud. It helps. It doesn’t take long before you get this down and don’t have to look at your guitar.

Thanks for the encouragement and feedback. Finishing up my last day of 30 day challenge and feel I have made progress sticking to lesson progression. I see how they build skills. Happy New Year!

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, show your work as community gives good feedback and encouragement. I am finishing 30 day challenge tomorrow ( practising 20 to 40 mins each day as today Day 29 consecutively) and I see the progress and understand how the exercises Tony builds on each and helps progressions. Keep consistent short practice and your muscle finger memory and picking direction becomes more automatic. Best of luck and have fun. Happy New Year.
