Anything worth doing is worth doing [slowly] at first.

1) Interesting watching a video of yourself play even something trivial as it makes it easy to see where imprecise finger placements lead to unclean tones. I thought I was doing better.
2) It was merely a point-in-time placeholder so I can look back at some future time, as Tony suggests, and realize real progress.

I need to start doing some benchmarking so I can see my progress as well. You did purty good there though… I def need to add the spider walk to my everyday practice.
