  changing chords

  Yeah, I’m changing chords pretty timely. I still have to look at the strings every time, any tips to memorizing where your fingers are supposed to go without looking?

  Go slow. Time and muscle memory is the only way. Better to go slow and memorize the right way than to try to play at speed and keep getting it wrong. Patient practice is the key.

  Go slow building muscle memory and confidence. Building a good foundation is key. Use fret board wizard to help you learn and understand the fretboard. Every chord has a root note. Also start out small, like… G to C or C to mini F. Place your fretting hand on your knee, then count to 5, 4 3,2,1, while counting down make the chord then at 1, play chord. Once you can make chord clean, then do the above without looking.
