  Picking keys and fretboard placement

  I am having trouble picking strings without looking and moving around fretboard with my hands and hitting correct strings, brand new player suggestions would be greatly appeciated

  Not sure what “brand new player” means, assuming that you have been playing for a few months or less. It’s going to take time to develop those no-look skills. It’s good that you are already trying to do things without looking because that’s exactly how you will develop them.

  Keep showing up and doing your 10 minute minimum and you can’t help but improve! I have seen so much growth in the 10 months I’ve been playing. Growth isn’t linear, you might not notice anything for a long stretch and then suddenly it will come it spurts. Focus on having fun and trying to get something out of each challenge. Don’t think you have to master the challenge of the day! Look for wins (any size), something that went better than last time or maybe a small lesson you can take away. These things will add up over time.
