Thanks one and all for your insights.. Hey, Here’s a new question.. What is the principal of the arpeggiated chord? Ie, the D chord arpeggio Tony gave us contains the standard three tones of D major chord, (D, F#, A) plus C. Does anyone see a pattern which tracks across the 4th (C chord) and the 5th (D chord) when we solo in the key of G.? I am assuming that it’s OK to jam all 7 tones in the G major scale when the G chord is being sounded, but am interested in the principal of arpeggio when the backing track is playing the 4th, 5th, and natural minor (Em).
