In my case I picked up a guitar a week ago, and I can’t get through any of the three week 1 exercises without tons of mistakes in both fretting and picking (even looking at the strings the whole time and going at like 30 bpm). It feels like moving on will be counterproductive if I can’t even get this to sound at least somewhat like music.
