6th TACiversary!
Today is my sixth TACiversary.
My life has been difficult over the last 3 years, and if I’m honest, I haven’t been doing TAC regularly since August last year.
I still sign in daily because I just can’t give it up. I think I’d forced myself into so much self improvement, I burned out.
Thankfully, I have been accepted into the University of Gloucestershire this September, doing creative writing. When I graduate, I’ll be returning to China.
My running, writing and TAC are the only things I’ve maintained throughout this chapter.
I did today’s lesson. I am not ready to return to normal yet, but I’m going to.
This year has shown me which hobbies really matter.
My songwriting has returned and I’m writing my first album since 2018. My third 南二路 album, 南二路三. I already gave a single one my Jamendo artist page.
Today, I got a little reed organ and wrote an instrumental song within five minutes of playing it.
My creativity has returned and TAC will play a new but vital role— a steady daily musical baseline.
Thank you, Tony and everyone in this awesome community.
I’ve always been a bit weird and in my own world, but TAC and this community have kept me sane during periods of deep depression and sadness. You might not always see me, but I’m there (like Michael Myers but less stabby).
Thank you.
Here’s to many, many more years TACing through thick and thin !
