This song as sung by the Lettermen was one of my favorites when I was young and starry-eyed. Thanks for bringing back some great memories.

  Thanks @DennisW for listening in and commenting good songs get covered and are timeless. We were all young and starry eyed and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Glad I could give you those memories if only for an instant I wanted to do a Valentines song that hardly ever gets performed anymore.

Thanks. I started to play along and then noticed the capo when it came into frame. Whoops. Had to adjust. Happy Valentines back to you.

  Thanks @albert_d yes the key was suggested by my chordify app had some stretches and flats that were difficult to pull off without the capo. Glad you enjoyed the unplugged campfire rendition I had enough going on just mixing finger picking strumming and singing those 4 finger stretch chords I didn’t have the time to perfect and still make the post in time for Valentines.
