Retirement is turning into a fantastic journey. After daily chores, I finally have the time to devote to developing my music skills.
I started TAC 48 weeks ago. For years I have never been able to pull all of the different parts of my guitar learning journey together. The presentation of the daily lessons has led to a very fertile learning curve and my guitar skills seemed to finally be talking to each other and every day I am excited to learn a new way to take all of the separate areas of my years of playing and starting to meld them together into something, for me, that is a cohesive approach to playing guitar.
New playing ideas seem to be developing at breath taking speed. I love it.
Many of you have told me that my music theory and picking ideas just leave you dizzy. Just think how I feel as on a daily basis my fingers are talking to each other in ways they have never had the time to develop during my working years.
I wish there were more hours in each day to squeeze in all of these new picking ideas. There is just so much music that I can learn and continue to develop in my own way of playing.

Hey Pete, I know i can seem over enthusiastic at times and can’t seem to explain what I’m trying explain in a way that is easily understood. Some day maybe I’ll be able to organize my ideas better so they make sense. i am having so much fun now that i should have retired a long time ago…
