Can someone please tell me the name of the song we are learning? I generally like the humor, but sometimes I wish Tony would just tell us the name of the song we’re learning. If the lessons were titled with the name of the song, they would be a lot easier to reference. Maybe it’s a copyright thing, I don’t know.

    Just remember…he’s not teaching the actual song. He’s teaching the techniques that are used in the song and certain progressions within the song. He also mentions how this progression is used in numerous other songs.

    Very good point, I sometimes forget that he is teaching a system, and not actual songs.

    Every Monday I get an email which explains the week’s challenges, which includes the title of the song the lessons are based on. If you don’t get it, perhaps check your junk mail folder in case it got thrown in there.

Sometimes his reason for being a little bit dodgy isn’t to be cute (or funny) but some of it has to do with blocking. Some songs will immediately lead to getting demonetized and/or blocked on YouTube. Some of our members YouTube accounts have been shutdown. So you have to be careful how you name stuff if it’s going to interact with YouTube. He even changes the moniker from the Fab 4 to Fab 5!

Thanks Pete, like all good things in life you have to learn to adjust to modern changes.I didn’t realize You tubes progression had affected TACers so much.

I have a love hate relationship with them. Their success seems to have come with some contempt for it’s old timed used. I assume $$$$’s have something to do with it.

  Yeah, it’s a shame. Tony’s videos are not subject to getting blocked on the TAC site, but most members use YouTube to host their videos and that’s where you want to be careful with how you label things.
  
  These artists are blockers: Eagles, Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, AC DC, Prince, Fleetwood Mac
  
  If you post video that mentions these artists or the titles of any of their songs, you could have it taken down by YT or worse could happen.
